What Members Say About Taos Co-op
"I love living at Taos, I don't even know if I'd have any college friends if I hadn't happened to move here. The culture changes from year to year since so much of it fluctuates with people moving in and out, but overall it's been a chill environment for the two years I've lived here, and the people I've met are what put Taos above a regular apartment situation. There's drama between members every once in a while, but it's usually not hard to keep to yourself and preserve your peace if you're not involved. The labor isn't too bad either, I'm a dinner cook for 4 hours on one day, then I don't have to cook for the entire rest of the week since other cooks are taking care of it. My favorite features are probably the garden on the sundeck and the dining hall common area; I'm there basically all the time to talk to my friends. The TV Temple is also great and I like having a pool table and stuff. It's also very queer and trans friendly."
